Q Kettlebell has changed my life! I don’t know what I would do without Lauren and Eric. They are amazing coaches who really care and help you every day. Best decision I have ever made!!! It’s more than just working out. It has become a very important part of my life
I have been a member of “Q” since August of 2012. I have been an avid exerciser/gym go-er/ health enthusiast since I was little, but “Q” has been, by far the best thing that I have ever done. With other gyms, or doing videos at home, it was easy to get bored and not want to exercise. In 3+ years at “Q”, I have NEVER been bored! In fact, not only are the workouts great, I also really look forward to going to workout! It is highly addictive for me. Even if I am tired, or know it’s going to be a tough workout, I am still excited to go. It has been a great place for stress relief and for camaraderie. At almost 45 years old, I am stronger than I have ever been in my life. It gives me a feeling of confidence and power.
As I mentioned above, ‘’Q” also makes me feel like part of a family. Lauren and Eric have been the most amazing trainers – and also great friends. They are both not only excellent at what they do, but they are also awesome people. They know how to motivate and encourage without pushing in ways that would frustrate you. When someone needs to modify a certain exercise, Lauren and Eric find a suitable alternative and are very encouraging – and they always are checking to make sure that everything is okay.
My fellow gym go-ers are also an excellent group. I have felt welcome since the first day. Everyone has been really great and it’s fun to catch up before and after class. I should also mention that my entire family loves “Q”. My husband is a member and all 4 of my kids love to workout whenever they can (during summer break and sprinkled through the year when they can make it). They are 22, 19, 17, and 10. My daughter (19) was at “Q” almost daily this past summer and her friends noticed the muscle she’d acquired after they haven’t seen her since May! She is very proud and continues to ask me about the workout each day. Even my 10-year-old loves to be a part of it.
I really can’t say enough about what a difference “Q” has made in my life. Lauren, Eric, and my fellow members help make me want to be a better, stronger, healthier person. I don’t feel judged. Only encouraged and supported. I want to do better for myself, and Lauren, Eric and everyone at “Q” make me want to be the best that I can be.
I have been a fitness junkie my whole life, so I don’t give compliments often in this area. Eric and Lauren are amazing coaches who truly know their stuff and care about their clients. Their healthy lifestyles are contagious, the workouts are always challenging, varied, fun, and super addicting. Working out at Q is the best part of my day. You don’t realize how much you need this program in your life until you give it a try!
If you like a great workout and a push when you can’t push yourself…Join the Q! Be warned it may become your new addiction!
Love it here! I was bouncing around for years on and off to different gyms, never able to get into a good routine. Since starting here almost a year ago I feel better then I ever have. The coaches and other members motivate and inspire me every day to work harder. Thanks Q for changing my life.
One of the biggest things we here from people who first transition to a “Paleo” lifestyle is I am Hungry! More times than not its because you have taken foods out of your diet that are very high in carbs and your fat is too low. Even though we don’t preach a low or no carb diet, just by going Paleo brings the carbs down a lot lower than most of us do before, so with that we need to increase our fats for energy. Avocados, olives, coconut, Ghee, fats from meats and fish, and some nuts and seeds in limited quantities are great choices! Don’t be afraid of fats!
